Communication and relationship development

At Furrytails dog school, dog training is based on positive reinforcement. Our work focuses on helping communication between owners and their dogs, as well as developing their relationship. In doing so, we analyze and interpret your dog’s behavior and body language. This service includes clarifying doubts about natural behaviors of the species and helping to modify unwanted behaviors.

Education through scientific methods

Choosing the right professional is crucial and makes a big difference in your daily interaction and relationship with your dog. For this reason, Furrytails’ approach to behavioral modification and dog training is based on appropriate scientific methods, without the use of force or abusive tools that cause pain or suffering, always respecting animal welfare. Before starting any training, an evaluation session with a guide is always necessary.

Conditions for Dog Training:

1. In the first training session, we assess the dog’s needs and the owner’s goals, as well as how they relate to each other. From this, we can develop and present the most appropriate strategy to achieve the desired results.
2. Training sessions are scheduled according to the availability of the Furrytails Trainer and the client;
3. Training sessions are held at home – with the exception of the Training + Daycare service, which takes place at the Furrytails location;
4. Training sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a charge.
